depressing spring depressor

depressing spring depressor Cam swap done no problem.
spent an hour or so trying to get universal spring depressor to pull down enough to remove locks...no luck. Cam has .564 lift so stock springs will bind,I think.More racing has tool that is suppose to work for about $130.,I'll just be using it once. I can't be the first to arrive at this point ,so someone has a tool out there for sale cheap. Is it you? PM me if you do.

i bought both kinds of tools from autozone; the lever tool and cut off the handle and the other kind. the lever cut off tool is the one that worked best. get the larry one as the autozone ones are a piece of ****. the larry tool comes with a re-inforced bolt and nut which you'll need, i broke a water pump bolt on mine using the autozone **** 
when you compress the spring just tap the retainer a bit the it should loosen up the locks so you can remove them with a pen magnet.
