Default stock cam help

hey guys would i gain any power if i were to adv. my stock cam??? i dont have the money to do a swap but i was thinking if iwere to degree it i can gain some power also is it easy to do with out ripping my hole motor apart

I would say it will not be worth the labor and new gaskets, etc to do the job.

This is something I have tried. And regretted. The loss of top end was dramatic, and the expected lower rpm gains just didn't happen.
If you want more mid-rpm torque, choose one of the "baby" cams, such as Lunati's smallest VooDoo.
If you want torque gains right at idle, maybe the LM7 5.3L cam.
