Are there big diff in heads?
Are there big diff in heads? I used to have patriot stage 2.5 heads. And now im putting on 241s cuz i dropped a valve and with my mods in sig i made 405 hp. Now since all im changing out with my new build is adding stock 241 heads with a 230/235 cam and was told i should make the same power. What everyones .02 thxs
Ya I made 405hp with the patriot heads and cam combo....but I'm told with 241s and same came I should be close to the same hence why ppl are telling me patriot heads suck
With that cam, I could see you making 405rwph with the 241's, but you should have been close to 430rwhp with the Patriot heads. So to answer your question, yes, there is a significant difference.
ok well i dynod it at one place when i first got the car and it did yes make 430hp, but the car burned oil sooooo bad, is it possible that the rings going out or something could have been seriously hurting the hp over time if the heads were getting bad?
