Whos still running stock pushrods. well i tried to see how long they will last with my setup and does not look like very long. i got crane duals and a 598/601 lift cam. this weekend i decided to go for a cruz looking for a race and did not find any. so i just went out to a deserted part of the city and got on it though all the gears about 5 times in a row. car feels real strong and brought it up to 7K easy. still feels like it gots more in it but i go ahead and shift. anyways, after the last run i could hear the ticking. looks like i bent one. does anyone still have these in there cars with dual springs? just wondering what is the limit on them, looks like it is some aftermarket ones for me.

well i just pulled every thing apart and got a slight bend in #3 exhaust pushrod. you can barly see it but it is there. i just slapped in another stocker until i can get some new harden ones. until then i will just keep it under 6500.

im still runnin stock ones but im running the scoggin dickey spring and retainer combo and a C1 (222/222 .566/.566 112)i left them stock on purpose for a little insurance ive prolly got less chance bendin a valve
