224 and lsx

224 and lsx How much is the 90mm Lsx going to help my 224 cam and pp5.3 setup? Is it realistic to get 470rwhp? I have all the bolt ons except for the water pump. I want to keep this cam unless I go to a 114 lsa. Also have a 12 bolt.

I think 470rwhp with a 224 cam is a serious streach with any head out there now. Maybe if the AFR's or LS2 are ported to perfection with a 4.0 bore or something but I really don't see 470rwhp with 224 cam. Now go prove me wrong.
Most I've read of with a 224 is about 440rwhp. Best gain with the LSX I've read about is ~15 to 18 rwhp.
450 rwhp is pretty hard to get even with bigger cams etc.

I should know, haven't dynoed it since the heads and cam. Intake should be here next week and we are going to the dyno March 6th. I was hoping for 410 plus without the intake, and then didn't really know what it would make with it. May have to spray it again.
