Default Comp trunion upgrade questions

To anyone who has ever installed their own, when you were putting the snap rings on, did you notice the ring wasn't flush with the body? Is it normal? The gap is very close, if not exactly the same on the other side of the rocker body. I did exactly as Comp says by making the bearing flush with the body.

Now I'm scared to do another haha

When I pressed mine I tried to get them as close to on centerd as possible, I just pressed them in real slow. Some seemed a bit off but ran fine, the bearing seating is what is important.

I think I had the same experience trying to get them centered and some seemed off no matter what I did. They ran awesome and my valvetrain is the quietest its ever been.
