Default Is A Titanium Retainer A Titanium Retainer?

Any differences in them? SDPC has the following:

Comp - $174.95
Lunati - $159.95
Manley - $89.50

Any reason not to go with the cheapest ones or is this something that you get what you pay for? Do you use the stock keepers with all titanium retainers or is there a lighter keeper to use too.

When I bought my heads from TEA, they told me that Manley stuff (valves, retainers, etc.) are junk. Their valves are about 1/2 the price of Ferrea, their retainers are about 1/2 the price of Comp Cams, but..... you get what you pay for. I used Comp retainers, but Lunati makes good stuff also. If you have a retainer fail (especially on a big cam dual spring application..... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> ) Not worth the risk, IMO.

They are going to be used with a 02 LS6 cam and springs if that makes any difference.
