dyno numbers are all relative, the dyno should be used as a tunning tool only, the street performance and track numbers are what really matter. sure high numbers are good and all, but if you make 420rwhp and it stumbles and knocks in first gear, then the numbers don't mean much.

Numbers are good imo. Throw on a cut-out in the intermediate pipe an you will probably see another 10rwhp. Could be a lower reading dyno as well.

So a bigger MAF will show no gains on the average H/C/I LS1 ?

This seems to be the consensus on this site, but I'm not sure why. Maybe thats when it is almost a requirement to upgrade, but it still makes some sense to replace it before that power level.

The average H/C/I car will make more power with a larger MAF especially when you have an upgraded intake and lid.

Just get it dyno'd elsewhere man. He mightve goofed and put in wrong weather conditions for all you know. He couldve fudged the numbers to 500 if he wanted to with weather conditions. Find a REPUTABLE dyno shop and check it there. Hot Rod I believe it was just had a good article about different dynos using a Mustang and EVERY one was different.

Ok let me guess. You're prolly an A4 car right? So with that being said, you can launch the shiit outta the car and the rear will take it. My buddy has an A4 making 430ish RWHP cutting 1.4 60s.. Big difference if you're an M6 car like me. gvbet me a 12 bolt and I will be mid to low 11s

Secondly.. I have an 85mm MAF

Next point you're trying to make??

honestly in my post on your first page I said they sounded low, but honestly I wouldnt worry about it. Go to the track and see what it traps. Traps tell what kind of power its making.

for the record on a dyno dynamics I made 412rwhp on a 95* day.

nothing else done to the car, I made 398rwhp on a rainy day on a dyno jet, and then on a dyno day with the dyno dynamics before that I made 412rwhp on, I made 397.8 rwhp....

my trap speed didnt change between 398 and 412. Numbers are numbers. The car feels strong so I am happy about it. The latest 397.8 rwhp was with 8* of timing taken away for the nitrous tune tho.

as far as this MAF talk is concerned, I am still on the stock MAF just with a ported TB and on a 100 shot, I made 517rwhp and on a 150 I made 600.8rwhp. Not once did my tuner or anyone else ever mention anything about the stock maf needing to be replaced.
