how are you gonna ask why are my old cam and new cam peaks at the same spot when you wont even post the specs???

Sorry bout that...224/230 .560ish to a 228/230 600ish....both 112+4* and also a ASP pulley with the new cam....

I am no expert by any means, but with the similar specs of those cams, I wouldn't really expect much difference. The similar durations and lobe separations are going to keep the power range in the same RPMS. The extra lift would be helpful if your heads had strong flow up to .600 or more, but even that is not a HUGE difference. This is all just my .02 worth...
