going from a ms4 to a lgx3

going from a ms4 to a lgx3 as of now i know i will be needing a new cam shaft being that i mushroomed a lifter and will have to pull the cam to slide the lifter out of the cam bore.
I hope i will be able to save the lifter bore slap in new cam and lifters and lifter guides.
if i can get this problem fixed is there any one with a opinion on the LGX3 ?

I would go with the g5x3. Its an assume cam and when I had my old z28 with that cam and bolt-ons made 421rwhp. Its a screamer but still had its manners on the street. LG makes some good products and ran 3 different cam from them, all with good results. Slap one in and don't look back 
The x3 is a great cam. made great power and pulled to 6,600 in my car. I also had the x4 cam. It made just 5hp and 4tq over the x3. not worth it to stress the springs more for a lil 5hp gain. I have ran ALL the x cams in my ls1.
INTENSEBLUE- My last set up i only gained mid range and nothing at all on top.went 2.5 tenths faster too.
