Default Pushrod Length?

I am running an 2002 Camaro LS1 and im about ready to do my cam swap, I am running a Thunder Racing TRex cam, i heard anything over 600 lift recomends running longer pushrods?? Id be grateful if somebody could school me up on this a bit...

get an adjustable pushrod and check the length. only way to be positive. have you owned the car since new? if you know no one has milled the head or changed the head gaskets someone will probably give you a guess, but measuring is the only way to know for sure. i think mine adjustable push rod was 20 buck or less.

Cool! Its completely stock, never been apart since new, i wanna go that route but its my daily driver... Cant tear it apart and have the down time.

Im going to be using my stock longblock including the 241 heads. I have purchased my camshaft, valvespring kit, oil pump, timing set, gaskets, bolts, misc already, what im wanting to know is what pushrod length is recommended with this TRex cam and what lifters should i use?

If you haven't read, including the 2 other pushrod posts directly under yours the only way to do it accurately is to measure them is a length checker. Down time may be 1-7 days depending on when you order them or how you get them shipped. But on the other hand you can guess and have no downtime or spend weeks or months doing your engine rebuild.
