I run a ms4, on stock gears it was a dog below 3500,4.10s made a big change, and I know when the 4.30s get put in it will improve even more,I have a lot of tuning time for sure, took a few hours on the dyno, some time on the street, and drive way adjustments lol,so a good tune is very important ,I will say that the ms4 pulls great up top, honest the ms3,4 are great cams, but imo there are a lot better options out there,I detailed a car awhile back it was a 02 ss with a 228 cam and ported 243s,stalled auto, car was really fun to drive, drove stock had great power, but I agree you might wanna go a lil bigger on the cam

Do you think the stock 3:42s will be ok or should I plan on getting at least 3:73s?
well I went to 4.10's and now I have 4.11's because thats what came in my 12 bolt I got from a buddy...and to be honest, I am going to be switching out the 4.11's to a 3.73. I really wish I didnt go to a 4.10 instead of keeping the stock 3.42's.....the car was actually 2mph faster in the quarter mile with the stock gearing and ms3 cam.
