type in "which cam", "cam newbie", "cam basics" ect. and you'll find the basic info you'll need to get started. "streetable" is a relative term, you'll need to be more specific on what exactly you want.

the tr224 114 is a great cam, regardless, if you know nothing about cams you can still trust the tr224. with the 224 cam i'd go with some 5.3 heads, PP if your on a budget or some AS or TEA if you have the money. and list your tranny as well.

Ditto what jrp said. I was a little nervous about the TR224 at first; I'll be the first to admit I'm a whiny baby when it comes to street drivability (an 80-mile-a-day, stop-and-go commute makes you really require good road manners... ). But I was and am quite amazed by the TR224-114's street manners. Around town, except for the sound and burbly idle, you'd never know there was an aftermarket cam installed - and on stock tuning no less! This is with an M6, FWIW.
