Powder coating cylinder heads I read a story that an American racing team used ceramic powder coating to benefit combustion Chambers. And it also filled in any voids to smooth flow. Is there any validity to this ?

ya you can go crazy with coatings. I read some **** that said just do the exhaust port and ex valve. It questioned the cost effectiveness of coating everything.
