Rocker Clearance Q

Rocker Clearance Q All, I've purchased a set of roller rockers and after making all the preparations to clean them and soak them in oil for 24 hours, I went to install them this evening and ran into this with the first two pair...
Now, I currently see 3 possible solutions and wanted opinions.
1. I grind down lightly on the heads where the adjustable studs are to give it clearance (it could weaken the rockers).
2. I remove my heads and grind down on the inside to give clearance for the rockers (it would increase the chances of oil leaks) It would also require work on the valve covers for clearance.
3. I try to return them to the seller here on the boards.
I'm considering choice one if the strong opinion is that enough material won't be removed to weaken it significantly. I know some rockers need clearancing under the nose for spring spacing, but wanted other views or possible other solutions. Thanks

Google the Crane rocker arm installation instructions. They have very similar contact with the older perimeter style heads. They have instructions on how to correct the problem.
Do not grind the rockers, period.

Thanks for the replies all. I've opted to go stock rockers for now. I've got a set of 243's I'll be getting alot of work done on and will do the cleranceing inside of them. That I can do myself. Vettenuts, I'm referring to rockers when the big-boys use larger than stock springs. This has nothing to do directly with what I'm doing, just a reference that sometimes rockers get worked.
