Cold weather and valve sprngs
Tomorrow it is supposed to be around 50 degrees around where I live, and I am really gettin the itch to take the trans am out. I did a cam/valve spring swap a while back, and I got the comp 918 springs. I am just wondering if I will be ok to drive it is 45-55 degree weather. I of course will follow the proper method of warming the valve srpings up, and it is doubtful I will even get on it very much.

I don't think the 40 degree weather will have any ill effects on your valve springs as long as you wait until your engine has reached operating temperatures. Drive around for about 10 minutes and then let her rip!

My car is my daily driver and I am forced to take my car out, pretty much every morning I would crank my car up and head to work early inthe morning, probably around 530am couldnt let it warm up because i live in a planned community where we get complaints about my car as it is. I did that for about a year, no problems.
