Default 02 LS6 valve spring????

hey does anyone know the max lift 02 LS6 valve spring is
Im looking at doing a cam that has .563 lift and I was hoping
to get away with the LS6 springs

please help

I think you might be skating on thin ice with the LS6 springs.

dont "try to get away with anything" when it comes to springs. do it right. T1/B1's have been know to have valve float with ls6 springs and there on 221/221 .558/.558 112/114 lsa. just spring (no pun intended) for some 918's or the manley kit.

You shouldn't use the LS6 springs with much other than the LS6 camshaft. The LS6 springs maybe good to a 0.550" lift but the LS6 cam has much LESS agressive lobe profiles than most aftermarket cams.

I agree with jrp. Buy a set of good springs like the 918's, Manley makes a good set, Crane now makes some. It's just not worth the risk to do otherwise.

That's what came on my heads(.570 advertised). Chris checked them and they are within 1mm of coil bind.
