Which cam?
Which cam? I've finally narrowed it down to two cams, I think. I'm going to go with the TSP heads cam package. I want the StgII lq9\LS6 style heads with 59cc chambers. Should I get the TSP 231/237, .598"/.595" or the TSP 232/228, .595"/.588"? I want the best performance(for my budget) that will be put on the streat. I'm also going to add a TCI 3500, underdrive pulleys, double chain, and ported oil pump. I chose the heads over the 5.3's because in the future I may stroke it. Also is there anything that I'm missing. TIA
I got the TSP 231/231. Talk to Texas speed and they will help you choose. I wanted the 231/237 but they talked me out of it. I only have a 3400 stall ans 3:23's and they told me I need a bigger stall and steeper gears to take full advantage of this cam. With you only having a 3500 stall you might want to reconsider. Look into the 231/231.
