Default which futral cam?

I have a f 14 112 Lsa .595 lift and the HL f14 intake side is.642 lift... orginaly had bought the low lift for my setup. then ran across f 14 HL 114 Lsa.. I have deciced to go with the low lift f 14 for my stock bottom end, stock ls6 heads, 92/92 setup, M6 setup in a 02 trans am..

whats the deal with the high lift f14? would it be a better choice for my stock bottom end setup? what setups are you guys running with that cam??. I also am looking for that race car sound with the Lsa112 on that low lift cam..

My opinion I would stick with the F14 regular lift because the high lift would I would think need alot more compression motor than the stock 10.1 ls1 I would think and a real good flowing set of heads (more than 241/243) aftermarket, but I am no expert LOL. I see in your signiture thatn you have 3.42 gears, I would think you would need a little more gear (3.73) for the auto, option.

IMO, I'd get the heads ported and buy some LT headers first, otherwise your just wasting you time and money on lift you really can't get much benefit from.

F13 works good on a stock bottom end
