Default Timing chain tensior

I was working on a 6.2 litre vin code 8 motor out of a 08 Escalade asnd they happen to have a timing chain tensior/ guide that bolts to the block just slightly above the matting surface of the oil pan.

Was wonder if anybody has swapped one over to the Gen 3 aluminum block. I was thinking about doing it to eliminate any chance for chain slop at higher RPM.

I dont think the holes are there in the block, but I dont see why I could drill and tap the block for that tensior

Any input on this
