Default Cam and gears

01 firebird formula long tubes,ory,lid,85 maf,tubular panhard bar and control arms with lcr brackets all umi parts on suspension,just put a 4k stall in last Monday love it.

What's a good cam fo my setup and gears to match the car. It is a daily driver but willin to sacrifice some driveability

well im going a little aggressive on my set up. i would need some more info. daily driver
? weekend warrior?
my current set up is a ls6 intake with headers, x pipe, torque arm, subframe connectors, 4k stall, 4l65e, 3.73 gears and a custom reverse split cam.
this was a great daily driver, and beat alot of big cam cars.
230/228 .603/.589 110lsa.
1.4 60ft 11.6@116mph in bad da. this cam had great torque down low but not crap peak numbers.

im changing out the cam with the eps cam. its a 234/246 cam. alot bigger but switching to 243 heads and looking for a low 11 sec pass on the motor

I was think the trak cam from thunder racing and 3.73 on gears..and car is slowly becoming more track setup but still be driveable to work and back and cruise around local

If you already have a large stall (3200+) then you won't see much of a gain in ET with 3.73+ gears...only a tenth or maybe two, at the most. If you don't mind losing the MPG's for that minor increase then go for it.

So what kind of et would I drop with a good cam setup with supporting mods...the motor had 152k but runs great if I do all new valvetrain parts with oil pump new timing chain and new rod bolts arp-katech
