Default Which pushrods?

This is for a L33 5.3, 2005, stock 799 heads.
LS1 intake, LS6 cam and springs (from an upgrade). But which pushrods do I need? Are the stock ones OK - why do people change them?
I also have some 241 heads that have been milled 0.050" giving a chamber volume of 61.77, so quite a high CR. If I went twith these heads, would I need different length pushrods too?

Thanks for any advice...

The only way you will know is by measuring. That is the best way to determine the length you need. People replace the stock ones because they arent hardened and they bend pretty easily.

They also change them when a change in valvetrain/cam has been done to ensure the proper rocker geometry. The wrong length pushrod can put pressure on the valve at the wrong angle and help wear out the valve guides and seals. As orangeapeel said checking is the best way. You can get an adjustable pushrod that you use to measure the right length with and then order the proper length.

Thanks for the info, and I just checked my intake too, it's not LS1, it's an LS6
This is going to be a nice little 5.3
