Default Important question

I dropped the pick up tube in my oil pan and i cant get that bitch out with anything.. ive tried the magnet trick with a string.. no luck after 2 hours of trying. So iw as wonderin if it would hurt anything if the bolt just stayed in there?

Do not leave it in there.
The crank will wip it up catch it & cause havoc.
Get a bendable magnet & try, try again, or remove the pan.

Craftsman has a nice magnet wand that is very flexible. If that doesnt work ....buy work space... Lower the oil pan bolts 1/2 inch if necessaey (more in front than back works good). I was a victim, but took less than an hour. BTW, you really dont want that in your pan . PS , why did they choose to use the rear of the two bolt holes in the pick-up anyway...LS6's use the "easier" hole if I remember right.
