Default Lq4/9 6.0 block question

I'm wondering what year and what model trucks use 6.0 blocks. I'm going to a couple salvage yards to find a 6.0 block. also would help to know what year trucks use the 6.0 blocks that are compatible with 408 builds, I already have the rotating assembly from TSP. thanks

It just needs to be a 6.0L block to work with a 408 rotating assembly. I think I would look at '03+ 2500 series GM trucks. Maybe even some 1 ton trucks had them.

It may go without saying, but remember that 2500 trucks include Yukons and Suburbans. My LQ4 came from an '03 Denali.

He was out Friday and Monday. Should get back to you shortly. If not, you can forward it to me and I will try to get you fixed up.

Do not buy a 99 or 2000 motor. Crankshaft issues.

With a 408 he'd be replacing the crank anyway. IMO, I would try and find the newer 6.0 block but as long as it's in good shape, you can probably make it work.

im not trying to advertise for these guys but check out www.car-part.com its kinda like a salvage yard directory, it has a search option that can narrow down exactly whos got what, what conditon its in and how much they want for it. I used it to locate a 6.0 for my build and ended up finding what I needed for cheap.
