Making sure everything is good to go
Since spring is almost here i figured that now would be a good time to start putting my parts in the '00 SS. So i was thinkin that i might wanna make sure everything is alright before i start. This car has always seemed to run kinda sh*tty (i think), never really ran smooth and seems a little sluggish (again to me). Now what brings me to think that something is wrong is the gas mileage. If i can get 200 miles to a tank i will be lucky...and that is highway too! Here is the pisser...it only has 8800 miles on it. Now, does this sounds like a serious problem that i should have taken care of before i put in the cam and headers....or should i just let the shop that is installing the stuff to check it out. I am just afraid that if i tell them what the car is doing, they will say you need new injectors or coils or something, even if it doesnt.

ummmm somehow you turned your LS1 into a gas gusslein v8, thats weird,................ what kinda gas do you use? a completly stock ss w/ 8800 miles should be a pretty stout little machine!

its a 2000 camaro with 8800 miles and it runs bad? did you buy this new? If you didnt buy it new, I would make sure someone didnt change gauge clusters or somethin, thats such low mileage for a 4 year old car. Change the fuel filter and do the basics, get it auto tapped, etc....

im pretty sure they didnt cuz last may the previous owner had 3rd replaced with 7464 miles on it..i was thinking that it could be a bad injector or coil since the car has practically sat its whole life. Im gonna start with new plugs once it get a little warmer. Im also not getting any ses codes...or the light is busted.
