Default what should a front 02 sensor read on mv ?

question 1.) i barrowed my neighbors scanner and i was just curious on what a senser should read and if it should fluctuate ???

2.) are front and rear o2 interchangeable ?


im just checking eveything to make sure my car is at its best before going to the track in a couple weeks, i want no excuses ....LOL


my car is a 2k z28...

The front O2 sensors should fluctuate rapidly between 0 and about 700-900 ( it's been a while since I've made a log) mV. The plugs for the front and rear O2's are the same, it's the ECM that reads them differently. If you're worried about the "performance" then make sure the newer O2 sensors are plugged into the front, and the older ones are plugged into the rear, since the rears aren't really important from a performance standpoint.
