Default stock 243s

how bad are my stock 243s hurting my setup.

my setup is LS383-EPS Custom Cam, 243s, FAST 90/90, Texas Speed 1 7/8 & ory,cutout, asp underdrive pulley. the cam is a 240/256 .647/.647 111lsa.

i have the option on either getting full suspension or heads or do a built t56. and a tune with either one of those options. i dont know which would benefit me those most. what do you guys think i should do? what do you think id put down now with my setup and run at the track?

If you cant hook the power will be worthless. I say full suspension before removeing the heads. But sounds like a solid combo and should run well at the track if you can stick that booty. So suspension with a bias ply tire would help you greatly.

To answer your question they are holding you back especially with that cam, intake, and amount of cubes. You could always get them ported if you don't wanna buy another set.

Send them to Advanced Induction. Phil & Ron will work their magic and get you some great gains out of them.

I would do some coilovers, control arms, torque arm, sfcs, maybe an anti-roll bar before doing the heads if it were me.

its a hard decision if you want good track numbers you actually need both my car makes good power but i cant hook yes on the freeway it pulls like a train and i smoked a Ferrari on Saturday but if we were on the street i would have got smoked!! it depends what you want for now! my heads are also hurting me i will like to get prc227 and be in the 490-500rwhp but also is worthless to have all the power so I'm saving to get both at the same time probably in a year or two because i cant decide
