Default Low rpm stutter

After i bought my car i noticed that at low rpms the car seemed to stutter and not pull as hard. It also backfires a good bit at low rpms. Sometimes the problems stays all the way through the gear. The only mod that is on the car is 3 inch exhaust. Im having problems diagnosing the problem and wanted to see what yall thought.

A friend of mine used his scan tool on it and it didn't read anything. To my knowledge i don't think the car has been tuned. The exhaust is dual 3" with a y pipe and no cats. The motor has about 70k ish miles and i haven't had time to check the plugs yet but will check soon.

try new O2s, clean the MAF. Mine used to do that crap when it was a V6 and i remember specifically that new plugs and wires didn't help it. BUT also check to see if you got any arcing off the wire boots. And last but not least check the coil packs. Thats all i can think of.....

I agree with syko. I had the same problem around 2500 rpm and it was my O2s being shot and my MAF sensors on the inside were black. For the price of new O2s, you might as well just pay for a Frost tune and have them tuned out and free up some HP in the process...IMO
