Default Help in Cam Selection

I was looking for advice or opinions on a cam for 99 A4 Firehawk. Minor mods...long tubes being installed in Spring. the cars not a daily driver, but stealth is important to me. Trying to keep lope to the absolute minimum but want a broad range of power for street, track use is minimal...2 times a year probably. Street tires as well..Stocker look. Ive kind of narrowed it down to SLPs 51011 or possibly LPEs GT2-3. Ill be looking into converters in the near future probably with gears. Any advice or help would be appreciated. TIA

Although I like the 224/224 114lsa cam best for an all around daily driver ......between the two you've mentioned..I'd suggest the LPE GT2-3

You really should do the convertor and gears before the cam..Not quite sure you'd get the benefit of the cam without those two first..

Just an opinion..

I agree those two are key. I have heard the MTI Stealth II cam idle like stock but has good high end gains after other mods. GT2-3 might have more tq by just doing some number crunching.

A TR224/114 should work nicely, but it has some lope at idle. You may want to try a 222/222 or even a 220/220 (MTI Stealth cam).
