Default stay with dish pistons?

I have a lq4 I'm putting a ls3 top end on and I was wondering if I would have enough compression with the dish pistons. And if they would need fly cut? Any help is greatly appreciated.

There are literally 100's of compression calculators online , Wallace racing is 1 that's good and has all kinds of different engine , hp , et , tire , gear .......etc calculators . You just need to know which #'s to plug in . Good luck

Whether you need to flycut or not will depend on what cam you want to run

I'm not sure on the cam size yet. My goal is to get somewhere close to 500rwhp. I'm hoping I can get by with the dish pistons and without fly cutting.
