Default Need help, . . been out of the game for awhile

I put my head/cam package on hold for the past few years and now jus' getting around to setting something up with Straightline Performance. Initially, I was well versed with the latest cam designs and valvetrain products but jus' looking at some of the new threads in this sub-forum, I feel like I am at square one again! My plan is to go with a pair of 243's I've purchased and hand port them, along with a cam/valvetrain upgrade with eBay headers and a custom dual h-pipe exhaust with two single-chambered Flowmasters.

I was contemplating a G5X3 110+4 cam for it's lopey sound and bottom-end torque. Would you guys still recommend this cam? What's this EPS lobe design and what valvetrain has proven to be effective winners these past few years?

Thanks!

I've only read good things about LG cams. EPS new lobes are very popular these days and put out great results with nice low mid range.

Good luck. Great of new products out there, its confusing sometimes!
