Iv got a 383 stroker ls1 I had built back last summer. The shop I had do the work is a gm specialist. After i had broken in the car, I had noticed that it was having to keep adding oil every two days. So it went back had a catch can put on after they found out the cam destroyed my pcv system. When i picked it up after the fix the shop said expect to keep using about 1-1.5 quarts of oil per oil change. Does this sound right to keep using that much?

 

No... maybe alitttle bit, but that is using way too much oil

 

Well the motor is set up for boost with a steal top rings. If that changes anything
