depends on your budget. You can go with a nice setup from texas speed and performance. cncd 5.3 or ls6 heads, with a nice cam. there are alot of options

like the other guys said there are alot of great packges, You need to decide three things first and then select
Cost-installed by a reputable shop (reccomended) H/C and support mods 4500-7500
Driveability- daily driver characterisitcs mpg, idle, pwr range ect
Cars use-Drag race, road race, autoX, street car (roll race ect), you need to decide where you want the power band, cant have the most power possible in low end, mid range, and top end there is nu such combo to give you all of it. There are good combos that provide all around results but if you want low or midrange power for autoX and road racing, or big top end for drag racing.
So decide how much you want to spend, how you drive the car and where you want power then call one of the many good vendors and LSX shops and give them the info and let them put you a package together.

examples, vengeance racing, cartek, texas speed, MTI, there are too many to name now, its really easy now to decide what you want and somebody will get you what you want!
And if you have any questions about what you want do some searchs, many many useful threads
