What rods and ported oil pump to use?
What rods and ported oil pump to use? I was wondering what would be the best Rods and ported oil pump to use for a motor that would hopefully put out around 450 RWHP NA and 550-600 on the bottle. I am also seriously considering a Turbo down the road once I get tired of the juice.
I what I am looking at is a fresh LS1/LS6 block with maybe some ported LS6 heads w 921 springs, Diamond 3.905 pistons w/ 2cc VR , Rollmaster chain, ported oil pump, TR T-Rex cam and all the bolt-ons plus an occasional 150 dry or possibly 100-150 wet shot.
Also does anyone have other suggestions or recommendations on the build. I am planning this over a year so I have time, but I want to do the lower end right. So your suggestions mean a lot.
