I just started my car for the first time with the new cam 224/224 581/581 on a 112 and ASP pulley kit. The lope sounds badd *** and the car started right up with no unusuall vavle train noise. I also had no lights come on. My car is a M6 it idles between 650 and 700 rpm. I love the cam so far, I'll see how it drives tonight. How hard (tight) was putting the ASP pulley on? I 've already reinstalled the stock crank pulley on my car, and it was very hard to get started. Just wondering becuase I plan on installing an ASP pulley when I do my cam. Thanks!

Tommy the asp pulley went on extremely easy. I put oil on the inside of it and slipped it right on. It went on just far enough for me to start the bolt and then i just kept tightening the bolt until I couldn't tighten anymore and then made sure all of the other pulleys lined up and pulled the old bolt out and installed the new one. I just drove the car, it pulls hard throughtout the power band. I had forgotten that I had set my rev limiter to 5700 so I just kept hitting it. The seat of the pants power gain from the cam is far greater than the power gain I got from all of the bolt ons combined and I have a full bolt on car. But the true test will be at the track and on the dyno I'll post once I get the new results.
