Is this too much chain slack?
I tried searching but all i found was for fabbing the ls2 damper in place, but to me that still wouldn't take up the slack and my lq9 pdf build spec. engine mechanical service manual didn't cover it.
so heres the pics. I'd appreciate any input and past experiences any of you guys have had.
BTW this would be a lq9 w/ a Rollmaster double roller if that matters.

Bought the timing set used off a member a few months back, Said it had less than 5k on it. Made sure i checked it over really well when i got it and all was well. Looked to be brand new if it wasn't oil stained actually!
Thanks for the input guys. Now i can move on with the build.
Hopefully this helps others out too!
