Default How often do valve springs need to be checked?

I have a small cam (Comp 224/224 112) in my 99 LS1. How often do the valve springs need to be checked/replaced?

The springs are Lunati LS1 Ovate Beehive (74818LUN).

Anyone??? Common wisdom seems to be about 20K miles but I think I have a pretty mild cam so does that still apply. I have 10K on the cam/springs now.

Found an old thread that suggests my lunati springs are the same as PAC 1218.

I would check about 15k and just pull a couple off both intake and exhaust. If the seat pressures are good, throw them back on. That will at least give you an idea on how they are wearing. If they are still strong, check them in another 10k or so and go from there.
