Default 3847 rod casting difference?

Looking to get hte opinion of more experienced individuals on the board. Long story short picked up an LS1 with a broken 3847 casting full float rod, bought another 3847 full float rod that came from a 6.0. Upon comparing them I noticed a small difference in the rod casting on the crank side. I do not know and am looking advice if this 6.0 rod can be used with the other 5.7 rods? Worried about differences in the weight and balance of the rod.

If you are worried about weight, disassemble, and have the big end and small end measured. A few grams difference, will not hurt. In terms of bob weight, being a little heavy is better than being light.
