Default rocker stand/pedestal ?

Got a set of Trick Flow 215s for my build. The stock rocker stands have tabs on the bottom to hold the stand. they dont match up on the TF heads. Do you grind off the tabs or are there aftermarket stands I need to buy?
I'm going to call TF tech line but they are closed, cant wait to get this build finished

Just grind the little tabs off. I had to do the same on my PRC heads.

I thought you couldn't use your factory rockers with the Trickflow heads.....is this the only reason why. Because of the little tabs? If so the Trickflow heads just became slot more appealing to me

thanks guys, I'm sure you can use the factory rockers, I thought thats what you you had to do, it just seems the stand might move around with the tabs ground off

They actually will snap right off with pliers. Having said that, did you check the wipe pattern? You may find they sit too high.

Default Trickflow 220 and stock rockers?

I had the same problem. I bought a heads/cam package from Vengeance. It came with heads/cam/pushrods/gaskets and rocker bearings. So I just assumed you use the stock rockers and replace the bearings with the ones provided in the package. The pedestals did not seat in with the tabs so I ground them off. Anyone able to confirm this? I haven't fired up the motor yet and won't be for a while. It's an easy fix if I gotta go in. I just couldn't find any info on this anywhere. Not even on Trickflow's website.
