This summer I'll be getting my heads swapped out and was wanting to know which head gaskets to get and where would be the best place to buy them from?

I'll be getting my spare set of 5.3 heads worked on by absolute speed.

-Stage 1 1/2 port & polish
-milled .030"
-performance valve job
-Bigger Valves = 2.00/1.55 (stock 5.3 valves are 1.89/1.55)
-Assembled with 2002 LS6 springs

I'd like to get as close as possible to the same thickness as the stock gaskets. Also, would I need anything else? I plan on using the stock roller rockers and my thunder racing 7.400" hardened pushrods. Thanks

 

Just use a stock head gasket..get them from SDPC..they are like $32 each
