Default Transmission wont go back in HELP!

No matter which way I put it the damn thing will not go... I changed my lt1 many times with no problems. Anyone have this problem? I just spent 2 hours jacking every which way.. Thanks guys.

I had this problem once & it was 'cuz the dip **** trans re-build shop put a Ford input shaft in my GM Viper spec T-56. Other than that, can't help. It should go in.

ya lol ^

but whichever it is, just make sure the motor and trani are tilted at the same angle, strap it to a floor jack and just slide it in there. Make sure the pilot bearing is OK, or that the converter is seated properly, and make sure the guide dowels line up etc.

Or maybe you need to take a break before trying again

I had a difficult time getting my 99 m6 mated up with re belhousing. Ended up man handling if all around till it slid in.

I thought mine would never go in. I spent over an hour cussing and bleeding. Finally, it just slid right in easily. You need the right amount of aiming fluid. Like a 12 pack.
