is my method for measuring pr length ok
sorry i know this topic is beat to death on this forum, however i have searched and read many threads and even books i am simply posting to make sure i understand this method of checking. first of all i am using the comp cams length checker. my setup constists of torquer v3 cam stg. 2.5 ls6 heads milled .020, ls7 lifters stock trunion upgraded rockers.
1. align timing dots at 12 o' clock so cam is on base lobes for cylinder number 1
2. insert pushrod lenth checker and torque rocker arm to 22lb-ft
3. adjust pushrod length checker to 0 lash
4. add desired pre load to final measurement on pr checker
this is what i understand after searching. somebody please let me know if this is correct. thanks

Theoretically that's correct, I just don't see it as feasible as I am never able to get my hands or sweaty fingers on the PR and adjust it with all that crap installed, haha.
