LS1 test I found a good deal on a 02 ls1/t56 but want to make sure it is in good working order. It is still in the car, but there is no wiring harness. In it's present state, is there anything I can do to check it out?
Drain the oil to make sure its clean. And maybe pull a head if you can. Check the obvious of course like block and broken sensors etc. bring a half inch wrench and turn the motor over by the crank see if it spins freely.
