Default Balance a Stock Rebuild?

Ok so what I would like to know is if there is any gains to balancing a GM factory LQ4 bottom end...

I am going through it and freshening it up with new rings, bearings and ARP hardware and will be spinning it to around 6800...

So is it worth the $150-$200 to have it balanced by a machine shop even though its a complete factory bottom end?

Thanks
Matt

Yea it is exspecially spinning it that high plus your motor will last longer. If your doing all that already why not balance it?

Not only will it last longer but the better an engine is balanced the more power it will produce possibly as much as 20 extra ponies .

Factory bottom end? Only changing bearings and rings? No need to balance that. Chances are they will spin it up and say "oh look, close enough".
