Default Engine block valley dimension quick question

Im going to need to lift my engine out of a truck as soon as it arrives. I have an engine lift. I need someone to give me measurements on the bolt holes on the valley so I can make a piece of metal with bolt holes on it to bolt down to the block. And then lift it by the plate. Thanks guys!

Stick bolts in the front and rear of the cylinder head. That's how I've always done it.

Well now that I think of it I don't have any spare bolts to even use for it. Could I buy bolts at any local stores that would work.
