This is the wrong section for a tranny question, but I'll help you out. My car is in the shop as we speak getting switched to a T-56 (and 12 bolt). How much you spend depends on how good a deal you find. I bought a complete T-56 setup for $1800. It is newly rebuilt with a steel shiftfork and McLoed clutch, Pro 5.0 shifter, console, clutch pedal and everything else needed. My shop is charging $700 I think for the install, $100 to get my pcm reflashed for the T-56.

I would like to go from M6 to A4.
The part that stopped me was I didn't want to get into modifying my wiring harness and having to switch PCMs and lose my ls1 edit capability.

Maybe you will luck out and find someone near you, like me, that wants to swap the other way.
