groove on lower main bearing

groove on lower main bearing

i just bought main bearings and noticed the lower ones got a groove in middle of it like some upper bearings have for oiling, i wonder if this would affect oiling or something?

Where'd you get them? What brand and part number? Have you looked up the part number on the MFG's website? Without knowing, it sounds like you got a mixed up set of partials...

well, i haven't looked for them in that web, they're king, it's strange cause they are new i just broke the wrapping, i'm considering to throw them back, just wanted to know if that would be bad or do you guys think they just would work well?

i've found them in web site i think they'll work well, this is PN MB5504SI, do you guys know advantages and disadvantages from upper and lower grooves on main bearings and compared to only upper bearing groove?
