Default 408

I saw your post and ironically I was looking for some similar information on building a 408 for my camaro. I would also like use some N2O, 150-175 would be enough for me.
Last month's GM High Tech Performance has an article on putting a 408 in a Firebird. It gave some good information and some dyno results. The motor made some good power too!
A friend of mine just gave me 2004 6.0 liter cast iron short block so I am going to use this as my foundation. Good luck on your build I have to do some research and find a good machine shop that is set up to work on LSX motors. All the machine shops here in northern MN are still using 60's and 70's technology. That is fine I own a few of these as well but let us face facts LSX motors are all the rage for obvious reasons.
