Default The Definitive "Will the Cheatr V3 pass CA emissions" thread

I've seached the forums and have read many posts about this cam. I have seen a lot of "should pass" comments but I cant seem to find any that definitively say that it HAS passed CA emissions test.

This engine is going into a 1986 Porsche 944. That means that I will be going to the B.A.R. referee for inspection and will, of course, have to pass emissions. It will be tested as a 2002 Camaro.

I am running LS6 intake, 243 heads (unported), stock exhaust manifolds and cats.

Cam specs are 219/230 .607/.604 117 LSA

I would feel a lot better about buying this cam if I knew for sure that it has been passing the CA emissions test.

I would have thought with the -9.50 overlap it would be a slam dunk. Is my assumption incorrect?

Would be great to hear from the folks that have this installed and what thier real results are.
