Default burning oil

ive noticed that my car is burning little oil. seems like it does it on decel, from what i can tell when my wide band is in. doesnt smoke when im driving, or at idle.. seems like it may puff some once when i first hammer down on it on random pulls. do u think it could be hurt rings? sucking thru the intake? valve seals? i dont drive the car hard at all, just a weekend cruiser and a few races here and there. its a cam only car.

My first guess would be valve seals, then leaky rings. Do a compression leak down test to check the rings.

Before you assume the worst, take your air tube off of the throttle body. Open the TB and see if you see oil inside the intake. If so, use some sea foam deep creep and clean it out real good. Thats what I had to do to with mine before I added a catch can. No more smoke after the catch can. Depending on how oily it is you may just need to take it off and clean it thoroughly.
